Using motion graphics to simplify complex technology and make infertility treatment testing more accessible
ERA Test Animation Explainer
The Japanese branch of IGENOMIX, a multinational company specializing in reproductive medicine testing, sought to promote their innovative technology, ERA® (Endometrial Receptivity Analysis), renowned for its effectiveness in enhancing IVF success rates. The client entrusted us to create an explainer animation aimed at helping prospective mothers undergoing IVF treatment understand the benefits of this technology.
To ensure accessibility to a wide audience, regardless of their medical background, our collaboration with the client involved clear communication, focused deliberation, and thorough research.
As a result, we developed an explanatory animation that could be easily understood by individuals without a biomedical background.
Following the animation's release and the subsequent understanding of ERA testing's efficacy, many prospective mothers requested their doctors to include this test in their IVF treatment plans. This increased demand led to a significant expansion in the availability of ERA testing at medical facilities, ultimately improving the test's overall adoption rate.
After successfully penetrating the Japanese market with the first video, the client shifted their focus back to Taiwan.
Consequently, they commissioned us to produce two additional videos: one introducing the IGENOMIX brand and the other explaining two new tests - EMMA® for "Endometrial Microbiome Metagenomic Analysis" and ALICE for "Analysis of Infectious Chronic Endometritis".
These two videos were released consecutively within a span of 7 days on Facebook, reaching 61,510 and 94,204 people respectively. This exposure effectively highlighted the advantages of IGENOMIX's testing technologies to prospective mothers in Taiwan who are preparing for pregnancy.
